I've just found the marriage of a David Clark and an Isabella McGregor in Auchterarder, in 1878. You'll have to get the cert to see how Isabella fits into the line - I'm assuming that she mght be Angus's stepmother or some close relative.

Found the Census you mentioned Yes I had already looked at it but wasnt sure about it as they were living with the Clark family. But it does generate more questions

Who are the Clarkes? and where is mum and dad?

I think that's for you to find out - see my ref to the marriage of David and Isabella:

Also the fact that Alexander was Angus and Mary Ann's son:

I'm getting confused!! ???

That 1901 census has 3 Isabella's.

My Isabella that married Andrew Louden is the Isabella Grand daughter age 7 Isabella's Parents were Angus and Mary Ann Seath

Angus is still alive he dies in 1926, but not sure about Mary Ann Seath

Just reread your post several times...... so what has happened to Janet Stewart? Angus's mother?

I am overwhelmed with the information I need to let it sink in and to try and get my head around it, let the bits fit together Im going to go to the Library tomorrow and try to find more about David Clark and Isabella McGregor

To be honest I dont have much information on Angus's and Mary Anns children, I was only aware of Isabella, so I know have all these siblings of Isabella, and the names are all the same or so it seams

Not sure about  Mary Ann . I'll see if I can find a death.

There are 2 possible deaths for a Janet McGregor other name Stewart:

1890 Blackfriars, Glasgow, aged 47
1903 Stirling, aged 60

Either you have to get both certs or you could  check up on the 1891 and 1901 to see if Janet McGregor is still alive - born circa 1846 according to the 1871
