hi
i've got stuck in trying to find what happen to my g-grandmother ellen markey it said she died giving birth to my grandfather james markey in 1916 in keady CoArmagh  but i cant find her i've looked online for her an no luck
any help is very welcome

Hi,
   I have found your Ggrandmother's marriage in Keady RC Church on 12 Sept 1911 but I cannot find a death registered on the LDS Record Search pilot site.

yes i got that to she married john markey in keady an had two kids Bridget an James Bridget was born 1911 an my grandfather 1916
his sister was put in care an he was giving to a family i think a uncle in keady
I've looked at Ellen markey an MC Kenna for her died but no luck

hi...just wondered if you had found the family in the 1911 irish census ?  there is a john mckenna,,and an ellen markey of keady listed.

yes i found my g-grandfather john markey an his parents patrick and bridget markey living in racarbry keady and my g-grandmother ellen mckenna an her parents felix and ellen mckenna living in granemore armaghbrague
but i still cant find anything on ellen markey/mckenna after 1916

my great grandparents were living in the next house in the census,the loughran's, so they must have known each other! small world :)

i'm intending to have a look around the graveyard in keady sometime soon so i will keep an eye out for ellen markey.

lol yes it is a small world
your great-grandparents lived between both my g-g-grandparents william graham is my g-g-grandfather
so its a very small world
an i've looked in Keady and Granemore graveyards but no joy

ah well,thought i would ask but had thought you probably would haved looked already.

my family seem to be in a sandwich of your family :)

 i've never been to the graveyard in keady so i'm looking forward to a good "dander" around.
