Now could I ask another favour?

I know William John Crowe and Elisabeth King were married in 1874 and it would be highly unlikely I could get a birth certificate for either - is it possible to find out at least both their fathers?

Elisabeth King was daughter of Hugh King, Craigmore and William John Crowe was son of James Crowe, Leck (one of the witnesses was Catherine King- bride's sister).

Thank you so much for all your help.  I really am grateful.  One question - if I was to look for the headstone of say William John Crowe and his father James would it be possibly in Killaig Presbyterian Church?  Both Hugh King's are buried in Ringsend.

Can't remember if there's a Crowe headstone in Killaig but if not then Macosquin Church of Ireland might be the logical place to check next (many of the Presbyterian stones there seem to be at back and back right corner of church).

Hi
I am a dscendant of Sarah Pollock who married John Barber in 1876. Sarah was related in some way to Crowes of Kilmaconnell, as my G Grandmother often visted.  I recall my great uncle visting with the Crowe family that live there now.
I was never sure where the link was, but I see in the 1911 census that there is a Samuel Pollock married to a Maggie who is considerably younger than him. A number of Crowes are also visting , although a certain Annie W is listed as a relative.
My hypotheses is that his wife Maggie is Margaret Crowe, b. 1979 of William John Crowe and Elizabeth King

Any comments?

John and Mary had two children. Elizabeth Anne Barber and Mary Barber.
I have Eliz' dob as 25/5/1876 but have not found record of Mary's birth yet.
Sarah died 7/7/1917 and is buried in Dungiven CoI graveyard but I have not been able to find her husband John's grave - his brother's will in 1922 mentions that he was last believed to be in Gular south australia, so he may have died there.
