Just another thought - I've quite often found that people from Castock parish got married in Plymouth.  I'm not sure whether it was a status thing - or alternatively, it was a bit like  running away to Gretna if the marriage hadn't been approved by parents!

  Dear  Soph

  William and Blanche are my husbands direct line. You mentioned 1827 for one birth and he is direct line as well.  I have never found marriage either.    I also strongly favour Blanche Angove
born in Redruth 1796.

Have not found Williams birth or death (have you?
Blanche died 1873 Gunnislake.

Cheers    J

Hi Jancon,

Not sure if you will read this, a long time since you posted on this thread.

I have found the death records of William to be: - 18/02//1861 at Gunnislake.  I have also found his parents;

Thomas and Joanna Breen, and who I believe to be Thomas's parents: - John and Betty Courtiers however, I am struggling to find both confirmation of birth date for John and siblings of Thomas.  if you have found any information, I would love to have this if possible.

If I can help in any way, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,

Julie
