I think Eurongilly and Bethungra were on the Travelling Stock Routes, western NSW...  I'll see if I can figure that bit out ..

nearest town to Bethungra would probably be Cootamundra, on the road to Junee.  Eurongilly is on the road from Junee to Gundagai...
