I always copy PMs to myself and oddly, although I know the PMs I've sent have reached the intended recipients (they've replied), I haven't received the copies like I usually do.

I'm happy to mention this to the "Techies" but I know that Trystan is busy doing some updating, so it might be to do with that.

Bear with us, please ...

On a couple of occasions recently I've sent a message to a friend via the Rootschat pm system but haven't had any reply from them.  Of course maybe they just don't want to talk to me, but it did seem a little strange, have any glitches been happening with the pms?

Mary

I had an  instance the same as this last week, though in my case possibly doesn't want to talk to me. ;D

RC must be one of the 'biggest' examples of the use of this particular Forum Package.

Very high number of users and threads, not to mention bandwidth required for the Photo restoration genre .....

Not surprised its creaking at the seams ......

You said it!! Yes it is creaking - there's a fair bit of work going on in the background to improve things in the long run, but for now we'll have to put up with the creaking, sorry.  ;)

There's not  much creaking as far as I can see.  Rootschat is so good, I don't mind you having to oil it now and again. :D

I've just confirmed with Bob that there does appear to have been a glitch, so if you don't get any replies to your pm's, remember to check them.

Thanks Trystan for the efforts you are making for the site, they are appreciated.
