Private messages on Rootschat

On a couple of occasions recently I've sent a message to a friend via the Rootschat pm system but haven't had any reply from them.  Of course maybe they just don't want to talk to me, but it did seem a little strange, have any glitches been happening with the pms?

I'm not aware that the Mods have experienced, or been informed of, any problem.

If anyone else has noticed a problem, please let us know.

I sent a PM a couple of nights ago which included a piccie that I'd restored.

I usually hear back fairly quickly from her  but, in this instance,  I've not  heard. I thought it might be an oversight until I read Mary's post  :-\

My first advice would be to check whether the recipient has actually been online since you sent the PM in question.  If not, they won't have had the PM!

The other aspect is, whether or not they are getting notifications that they have PMs.

And finally, there's the "there is life outside Rootschat (allegedly)" aspect!

I didn't like to PM her to ask if she got my PM - it seemed daft in this instance but I will now  :-\

Yes I am positive that the people involved have been online since I sent the pm's and the reason I haven't asked them - by pm - is in case they aren't receiving any, they might not get the next either .... if that makes sense?

In view of the responses received on this thread, I feel certain that there is a glitch and that I wouldn't have been ignored.

Arranroots, perhaps if you are in touch with any of our techie people you could ask them to check up please, and this could have been going on for a month or so, continuing up until at least two days ago.
