Hi,
In 1861 there is a William HAILSTONE b.1832 Patney, married to Lucy, living in Upper Clatford, RG9/713 f.96 p.17.
There is also a William HAILSTONE b.1836 Bottlesford, married to Ellen, living in Upavon, RG9/1307 f.64 p.19.
The first William seems to belong to,
MarriageJohn HAILSTONE (of Patney)
Hester GILLETT
1819 Devizes St John
Unfortunately the 1841 census for Patney seems to be missing.
http://www.findmypast.com/helpadvice/knowledge-base/census/index.jspThe second William is proving much harder to find, I'm starting to wonder if he was born to Jane HAILSTONE before her marriage to William MOORE,
