Profession? Location? & Date Please.

need some more help as usual!  Can anyone identify the uniform of this person, date taken and possible location!

Here's a tidy up, colour to follow.

The pic was taken in a studio.  Is there a photographer's name on the back at all?

I could be totally wrong but it looks more like a costume to me.

Not a uniform these are day clothes & looks around WW1 or just after,
I don't think this is later than 1920,however her skirt looks a bit short for
this timeframe but if she's no older than 16 this would fit that time.
As Caroline says we need to see all of this plus the back.
She appears to be wearing a gold band on her right hand which I believe
was the custom in some European countries for married women.(if you think she's that old)

I've been caught out like that before so looked at the buttons as well.
The only way this would be in reverse is if this was a Tintype which it isn't so is this European ?

The watch is also on the 'wrong' wrist. It's an odd one this! I agree with Jim re the date but the skirt is a bit short for pre-1920 and the hemline is very uneven.  Also, the small cap.  Shoes have ribbons as laces 

Hair is up and she looks between  18 and early 20s to me.

Could the clothes be photographers' outfits?

Blimey where have you lot been all my life!!!!  Me and my cousin have studied our family photos, trying to guess what there all about... then you give us more info in 1hr then we could have dreameded of.  Thank you so much for the colouring they look fantastic.  should i put more pics on here i have many!  Also i will scan the back of the lady on here own.

Hi Christian...Could the lady have been a dancer 'cos they look like character shoes to me as they have ribbons....when you post another photo if you want a Restore/colour...putting it in the subject bar so we will be able to give you what you want...it has been suggested in the past that we only restore/colour photos on request.

Caz: You wouldn't be aware of this because you were absent from the board at this time....lovely piece of work
