Is this the same person

Is there anybody out there that could give me thier expert opinion on these two photos. This is my great grandfather.  I would like to know either way whether the man in these two photographs is the same man maybe a few years apart. The darker picture was taken around 1912 the other probably before. The earlier picture i know is him for definate, i'm told by family the second one is him too but there is some doubt.
Anyone from c.s.i. out there? (ha ha! )

Hi stegaroo,

Not an expert opinion  ;D but I would say that there is a good chance that it is the same man - same face shape, similar nose, eyebrows .... and tache!!

I am sure you will got lots of other opinions!

Same man.The 2nd. picture looks around 1905-10.

Thanks for the replys guys, they certainly knew how to grow a moustach in them days. I'm almost positive it's the same person. It's just not having the incontravertable proof that it's right that gets ya.
