Hi,I have just completed a very basic tree for my 92 year old uncle as a birthday gift.He is extremely pleased with it but we have one query.His brother died in the 2nd world war and the CWGC site lists his wife as Agnes Lamb,he seems to think her name was Ramsey but they married in Scotland so i am a bit out of my depth.
The names are Kenneth LOVETT born Barrow upon soar Leicestershire to  Agnes Lamb or Ramsey born Scotland wedding would be about 1942Could anyone advise me where to look please.Many thanks for any advice,Elaine

There is a marriage between a Kenneth Lovett and an Agnes in 1941 Canongate, Edinburgh.

You are in luck as the index for marriages after 1934 only just came online in the past couple of weeks!

Have had a look on  http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ and found that Kenneth Harry LOVETT married Agnes Lamb RAMSAY  1941 in district of Cannongate & Portobello, Ediburgh/Midlothian GROS Data  685/03 0088
