William Eames -Coal Miner - Pontypridd

Hi there,
Can anyone help in finding date of death for William Eames.
Have searched FreeBMD but found nothing. Perhaps, it was after 1974. He was born in 1891 St. Helens Lancs. and moved to Pontypridd in 1912.  His father was Henry Eames born 1853 in Llanengan Caernarvonshire also a coal miner in Pontypridd. Would Glyntaff Cemetery Pontypridd require a death ref. to trace his grave?

  They are extremly helpful at Glyntaff and helped me many times to find relatives, even taking me to the actual grave and given me a map of the cemetary to put into the ancestory file.

Hi again, There is a Henry Eames death reg in Pontypridd in March 1932.
               A marriage for his son William to Mary C Scott reg Dec. 1913 in
               Pontypridd.

William Eames is not buried in Glyntaff , His father Henry is Plot X412  1932 with Mary Eames who died 1938.

Thanks for your reply and info. I do have most of it,except a death date for William Eames.  Glyntaff are very helpful.  I wonder if they would have a record of the engraving on the headstone for Henry and Mary Eames. At present it would have to be dug out of the ground to read anything on it.  I'll press on, might be lucky!

Hi, I have only just found your post. William Eames was my grandfather. My mother, Eileen is his daughter. He died in March 1942 whilst living in Angus street Aberfan. He is buried in Aberfan cemetery. I hope this helps.

Nice to hear from you and thanks for your reply. Since my post re. William Eames I now have his place of buriel provided by my cousin who lives in Perth W. Australia and is  keen on family history.  Together, we have info on the Eames family back to 1841, so if you are stuck on your research maybe we can help.
