Been reading up on Flaybrick History

Flaybrick has been there before our Grandparents/G.Grandparents were born,then it was Flaybrick Hill.I found some interesting reading on its history in various newspapers,How it was a quarry,one young worker was killed during the excavations. when a large boulder fell on him.The Rocks having been brought up from the Mersey dockyard?Arguments between the councilors over money.It took nearly four years to get Flaybrick Hill in order.One article said Flaybrick was a beautiful cemetery very tranquil, In the blessing of catholic sections.Attended by hundred of people,some one said Something like .I would to say welcome to Flaybrick,but that might not go down to well

On the way through the history bits I came across some very long  and interesting orbits Of Birkenhead people.Gosh the funerals of some of them were fit for a king today.
Even a young man who fell from a scaffolding had a big turnout
I have taken note of 5 of them,then searched rootschat to see if anyone is researching the names in Birkenhead but didn't find anyone, well i did find on the Surname interest Lots of members researching McFarlane,but all in Scotland. Better go before i bore you death

My Grandmother, Lucy Price, was buried in Flaybrick in a Communal grave in c.1925. She was RC. I live on the South coast but managed to see Flaybrick once but could not get in! Do you know who would hold the records for burials there please?

Birkenhead Central library have the burials on film for Flaybrick .
Birkenhead archives have them as well. The ladies at the archives are wonderfull, at one time i had promised a look-up.Unfortunately i couldn't get there on the day,so as they would remember me.I explained the situation and if they had time could they  do a look-up for me. I got it a very short time later.So send them a mail,
