Hi carolynne

Thank you very much for the censuses
Obviously Henry only married once
First dau Sarah must have died
I think Henry's mother was a Sarah

Interesting to see where the family is in 1861

Many thanks

The only things I can find on Daniel are 1841 Census where he is a brickmaker, living with the Booth Family in Edensor, Derbys and Marriage in Derby to either;
Lydia Young or Mary Woodhouse, Sept 1847, Bakewell,
19 288

Maybe he immigated somewhere?
In fact there are only 12 BMD's for a Daniel Hole at all 1840-1934.  T

Hi Trish

Thank you very much for the 1861, they had quite a big family

I have found some of the later children's birth entries (thanks to carolynne's help) in Basford dist which covers Eastwell and Heanor and deaths for Hannah and Sarah in 1868 and 69
But certainly the surname is open to misspelling/mistranscription
I cannot find births for John unless he's John Tom or for Harry at all
I'm even having trouble tracking a poss marriage for Henry pre 1847 (first Sarah age 4 in 1851)unless he's under Hall

I guess it is poss mother Sarah got married
I'm not bothering to trace Daniel at this point, enough to trace Henry and his connections!
Can either of you see Henry in 1841??

Thanks for your help so far
