I had a few minutes to spare today so did the look ups for you…….
First I had it down as Christ Church Parish South Mountsorrel….
But their Records did not start till 1884……..
So did a bit of digging around and found the Events……..
Theses events were conducted at :~
St Mary’s & St John the Parish Church
ROTHLEY. Apparently South end Mountsorrel is a Chapelry of this Parish
And there is separate records with events for Mountsorrel South end
Within the Parish records for Rothley.
So. ………We get.:~
1810. John. Son of John Whittle and his wife ( Not named) …Bapt. …11th. Feb.
A Macaulay. Vicar.
1811. John Son of John & Ann Whittle….Bapt. 28th. April.
A. Macaulay. Vicar.
Sorry did not have time to check out for a burial of the first John.
