I spoke to my nan last night and apparently...the dance hall he worked at was near richmond road in London...this came under Kingston when i googled...she said she worked in a hotel near there at the time.
and that is all...i've googled 50s clubs for that area and all i got was the regal cinema...doesn't state whether it was a dancehall in that period.
apparently her mother(my GR N) said that he was emigrating to South America...convenient this?!
as apparently in the 70's he came looking for them!
