Royal Irish Constabulary
« on: Friday 25 September 09 09:44 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I have found out that Joesph Aldridge was in the RIC before joing the army. I have the following details:-
Name: Aldridge, Joseph
Birth Date/Age: 1895
Birthplace: Kildare
Film #: 2093
Page #: 105
Year: 1920

Is there anyone out there with access to the detailed records? If so i would be very grateful if you could look up his details for me.

If you go to your local Latter Day Saints Family History centre with those details they will be able to order the film for you. It only costs about £3 if that, and you can look at it when you wish for a few weeks.

Good luck

ps that is what I did with some success.

I'm looking for a photograph of James Kennedy who was in the RIC in Galway (Tynagh, New Inn, Monivea, Meelick) between 1848-1878 and then 2nd Head Constable in Claremorris, Co. Mayo from 1878-1881. Does anyone have either have one or have ideas on where I might find one?
Thanks
