Wisbech Burials
« on: Wednesday 23 September 09 04:33 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I'm hoping someone may be able to help me.

I am looking for the burials of Ruth Cornish died September 1909 quarter aged 1 and Herbert Cornish died June 1909 quarter aged 1 - both deaths were registered in Wisbech.

Could someone please tell me where burial indexes may be held - and who I need to contact to have them checked.  I think they may be my grandmother's siblings, but I'm not sure what religion they would be.

Thank you

Hello Lynne
The burial record won't give you much information about the deceased or their families, but they're held at the Wisbech and Fenland Museum, this link also has another link about how much it would cost for someone to search the records on your behalf.

Another good resource for the area is Wisbech and the Fenlands, they have some records transcribed, but not burials.

Regards,
Brenda
