As a descendant of Christopher Poole, Patrick Poole, Vincent Poole and John Poole who were all members of the IRA I am interested to know whether any of the wives were involved with the movement.  Christopher Poole's son, Christopher, married a Mary O'Reilly so I wonder if there is more information on Mary O'Reilly.

The army service pension files of the four Poole family members you mention are all online at

http://mspcsearch.militaryarchives.ie/search.aspx

I don't see an entry for Mary O'Reilly. I should point out, however, that this search engine seems very sensitive. You have to get the name exactly right! I only found my own grandmother's file with some difficulty a few years ago, and tonight I can't replicate the feat! (Even though I obviously know her name, and I know she is in the database!) Or perhaps they have removed the files of unsuccessful applicants? -  my grandmother received no official recognition, as happened to quite a few Cumann na mBan volunteers.
