Is there any hope of improving this one?

Can you offer any insight into this photo?  For example, where she might be standing?

Judging by the large iron hinge above her left shoulder I`d say she was in the back yard standing near the backyard gate.Viktoria.

Good eyes Viktoria.  I couldn't see that.

It look like she standing in front of a stable door and she's holding the bridle of a horse.

I think there is what looks like an old mangle behind her.

No mangle just a back garden gate.

I've had a quick go but this isn't a very good scan to work with.  We might get a slightly better result if you rescanned the pic at 300 ppi.
