The KETTLE-BAILEY link is interesting - Mirek seems to be a family name:

Manchester, I was looking at the same free bmd entry whilst in chatroom....when you view original scan....it does not include a Mirek Kettle.

Yes - it's a faulty link on Free BMD. (I get a page of surnames beginning with A.)  I checked the complete images, and the reference is correct.

Rasta, I cant find Mirek on the 1911, but I DID find his brother Miles & his family for you while I was looking:

Hannah Kettle looks like she may have died age 61 in Leigh Sept Qtr 1905

There is also a death in 1902  Sept Qtr of a Myrie Kettle age 26

thanks for all the help folks found mirek turned out thomas bailey was his father and my g granny his mother if you get the picture, haven,t found a death yet but at least i know hwere he went :D :D :D :D :D
