Hi Teaup,

Where do the birth details come from - is it the 1901 census? There's a boarder by the name of James Byford staying with the family in 1901, therefore I'd say this is a very likely match in 1881:

Strange that the children are called Eyres but Elizabeth is down as unmarried with the surname Chambers 

(there a possible marriage Alfred Walker - Jane Chambers in 1864, Leeds Registered Building)

Elizabeth Chambers to William Hare

Marriage 1875 St Jude Potteryfield
Elizabeth Chambers or Hare to Charles Byford

Elizabeth's father was, I believe, a Samuel Chambers born ca. 1812 South Witham Lincolnshire (a private at Carlisle St Mary in 1851)
