I am trying to find the final resting place of my great Uncle, I have tried all the usual sources just waiting for the Obituaries from County Archives, not holding out any hopes.

His name was Harry Albert Cody, died 11/09/1978 at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, and his home address was in Bishopstoke.

Any help or tips more than welcome.

Have you tried Eastleigh Borough Council for burials at Stoke Common Cemetery? cemeteryservices@eastleigh.gov.uk <cemeteryservices@eastleigh.gov.uk>

Hampshire Record Office only has St Mary Bishopstoke Burials to 1941.

Hi there dee-jay,

Thank you for your help, in my over enthusiasm I forgot to tell you all I have found him, he is buried in Fair Oak Cemetery which is run by the Parish Council although still part of Eastleigh. I was lucky that quite by luck I found the informant and the information of him.

So a good result alround.
