Hi Willow, I checked the link, but found that it is a Catholic Church. On my grandparents' Certified Copy Marriage Cert it says "1909 marriage performed at Holy Trinity Church, in the parish of Ettingshall, Wolverhampton Stafford. Then beneath the personal details it says "Married in the Parish Church according to the rites and ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by me Jno B Colley (Curate)". So I don't think it can be the same one. Of course I realise it could have been demolished years ago
The actual date of the marriage was 25th December, 1909, and they both give their addresses as No6 St Mary's Terrace (grandfather) and No2 St Mary's Terrace, (grandmother) Ettingshall.
In the 1911 Census they are living with in-laws in George Street, Ettingshall. Since my grandfaher's side of the family were all staunch Methodists, I'm wondering if there was some 'ecclesiastical' arrangement between the Churches, and although there was a Methodist Chapel in George Street I'm not sure when it was built.
Any ideas most welcome, and if you have any look-ups you need in Worcester . . . .
First 10 years I lived in Wolves, 2nd 10 years in Shropshire, working in Wolves, then moved away.
