Do you know anything else about Robert?  I just looked up family.org and there was a Robert Macleod born in Lochs, Isle of Lewis 7/10/1872.  Could link with earlier family in Lochs

 A friend is looking for ancestors in Lochs by searching a site named http://www.hebrideanconnections.com.Says he found old pictures of relations.Might be worth a look.

Sadly there has been no progress on this search so I am doubtful that we will ever solve the problem, certainly seem   s like we have hit a brick wall. Thank you all for your interest and help in this matter
