Beardsmores - gornal to wigan

I am trying to trace the movement of the Beardsmore family from Gornal, Sedgley to - I think - the Wigan area. They were miners and some then went on to New Zealand.
Any help appreciated

Thanks Anjo. I think that it is probably Elisha, son of William and Rebecca Beardsmore I think he may have already gone to Wigan -ish by 1871. Still trying......

                   I presume you now are looking for Elisha Beardsmore chr 19 Nov 1820 parents William Beardsmore and Rebecca??.  I will have a look for them now it is a bit clearer what you are after.

I have been tracing the family and I have been told (by a not very well informed source!) of the move from Gornal to Wigan. I am trying to find our whether that move really did happen. Unfortunately so far I have found six Elisha Beardsmores!
I will try the Wigan end as well.

MY  gt gt grandad John mansell was born illigitimate his mother married a beardsmore from dupdale bank lower gornal  john was living there when he got married. i dont know anymore than that mabe you can shed some light on my side and when i get any info i will pass it onto you..oh i believe john had a brother called robert and he was a beardsmore not mansell... sue
