I'm actually a Postman in Brentwood and can confirm that the Warley Hospital site is a new housing developement.. However the site is very large and I do know that there is a converted church on the site. I'm pretty certain that there are still some gravestones in that area on a vacent lot of land that the children use as a playfield?.. Also Warley Hospital is still a working hospital, as I said the site is very large and though the main building and church have been developed other parts havent.. Try getting in touch with the hospital as it should be on an NHS list somewhere and ask if theres any other burial sites on the land or nearby as I know of at least two church yards that sit across the road now, but may have been part of the hospital back then??
I'll pop by the converted church and local grave sites surrounding the land sometime next week and let you know if I find anything.
