Possibly Hannah in 1901-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/St__Anne_s/Nelson_Street/933821

1901 census (link given earlier) lists William Eppleston as a pensioner.

Julie, its not a problem, Hannagh has been a mystery for so long ... Its a shame Anthony hasn't been back to the thread as he may have held some info, but you never know, he may revisit.  Have sent you a PM

aghadowey, thanks again, I have Hannagh on 1901 census but trying to figure out exactly who  she was in relation to the family

I have re-visited the 1901 census family details.  Given that the head of the family John and his wife Hannah were married in 1895 it was logical therefore that Samuel, Isabella and Sarah may have been from his first marriage.  Thanks to recent online GRONI records I have now found both Isabella and Sarah's birth certs showing the mother to be Isabella BUNTING but I cannot find a birth cert for Samuel.  I cannot find a marriage cert for John and Isabella BUNTING and given that John remarried in 1895 I assumed that Isabella must have died .... but no death cert for her.  Have I missed something or can anyone else find any clues to these missings certs?  Help always gratefully received.

Samuel is also a mystery as he's not on the 1911 census and I cannot find an obvious marriage/death cert for him.  I've tried the 1911 Ancestry UK census without any luck and wondered whether perhaps he joined the army?   1901 census states he is a Tailor and I'ved looked at the BSD's around the time he was born and see there were some Buntings loosely connected to the industry and wondered whether someone may have come across him in his capacity as a Tailor in the subsequent years.  VB

This is the 1901 possibility for Hannah Darragh that I posted earlier- is that the one you mean? if so Hannah is shown as boarder so quite probably she is not related to the head of household and his family:

I feel like I've missed a large part of the messages here  :-\ Who are 'John and his wife Hannah' who married in 1895  ??? and Samuel  ???

As I mentioned earlier, there are errors in your topic on other forum-
http://www.belfastforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,35783.0.html

It's quite obvious when you check census records, online trees, etc. that 'your' William Eppleston is NOT the one born Altrincham, Cheshire.

Fortunately, any error of linking the wrong William to the wrong family 3 yrs ago didn't cause any grief to my research as, significantly, it was Hannah who held my interest but, I know what you mean, after all, who hasn't spent endless hours trawling through Irish resources only to find they've made an error  ::)
