hi; am new to this and loving it. thanks to everyone b4 me much is already known, but maybe not all. gggggg grandfather is john haydock (of stangmore) born 1698 in stangmore. then i read that it is in dungannon and tyrone, need help with wich one is correct. he married rebecca whitfield june 16, 1710 according to what i have found. his father, john haydock of stangmore, died in stangmore. nothing on his wife. conflicting info about his children, nothing on his parents. it seems that some were quaker and some catholic. can't wait to hear from some one. thanks             also, are there any ways to view quaker records  online

Hi, I'm *very* new to RootsChat but experienced for fifteen years in RootsWeb. I have relatives named Haydock that married into my Espey line in Cookstown and Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland. I'm in touch with a relative who is a direct descendant named Haydock.

           I cannot find Strangmore or anything like it but Dungannon is a town in the County of Tyrone in Northern Ireland

there are 2 townlands in county tyrone with the name;Stangmore(Knox) and Stangmore(Magee) both in the parish of Clonfeacle. Stangmore(Knox) is just outside of Dungannon on the Moy road.

I am new to this forum, so am reading your post 4 years after you posted it.  However, I am in contact with someone who has done research on the Haydock family in Killyman parish near Dungannon.  The family were Quakers.  Susan Cross, b. 1935, married Thomas Haydock and then emigrated to the US.

a presbyterian in Lowertown  Bernagh Co .Tyrone. I'm unsure who Thomas Father was, Isaac son
of John B.1801, John & Mary 1742 son John & Rebcca 1698 son Iscca & Jane Quaker/Presbyterian
If anyone has any information on my G.G.Thomas Haydock and his Tyrone Family.

When and were (and who) did Thomas Haydock marry? is his father's name listed on marriage registration?
I looked in 1901 census but didn't see a match for him.
This one in 1911 census fits age-wise but the family is Church of Ireland-

Starting with what i know so far.  John married Mary Hinshan their son John married Rebcca
( Whitfield ) ? their son Isaac married  Jane ?  Changing from Quaker  To Presbyterian .
I belive their son Thomas married Margaret ? from Co. Down. their son Samuel married
Elizbeth Brown ( Belfast )their son Henry married Olive Houston ( Belfast) their son George E.H.(me)
married Elaine (Curry ) Neale. their son George moved to N.S.W. Aus. George married Kyle
 Cockburn N.S.W. Australia their son is Baily Haydock (today 2023. )
