Please can someone help me. here's what i have
My Great Grandfather was John Lance Hewitt Married Eva Pickett Jun 1906
I believe His parents where John and Ada Hewitt. I Have found them with John Lance in the 1891 census. i am struggling to find John & Ada's Marrage John was Born in Birmingham and Ada Sheffield and John Lance also Birmingham but by Age 4 was living in hull. I've looked everywhere i can but no good. I Think i found John Snr's Parents Samual and Sarah Hewitt but not 100%

I'm afraid this looks like a case where you need John Lance's birth cert to find out Ada's maiden name before you can make conjectures about marriages.

I can see a possible Ada in 1881, already shown as married:

If it's her then the Sep 1877 marriage, Aston 6d 508 between John Hewitt and possibly Ada Cathrall would fit nicely, but you won't know without little John's birth cert.
