Hi again,

Just looked on YorkshireBMD & there is a death at Micklegate, York for a Dorothy MORRILL in 1943 1843 which I think should read Merrill.

Sounds like she may also be buried at Micklegate.

His wife Dorothy I have her death as 1855.
Found her 1851 census living with daughter Jane at Pump Yard Micklegate but nothing in 1861.

If Dorothy died after 1836 she may be buried in the municipal cemetery in York. All their records are digitised and you can access the site through york.gov.uk or may be able to search for yorkcemetery - its in cemetery road! - through google. You can access some information on the site, other info can be ordered for a small charge.
