If you go on Multimap , look along Keighley Road, you will see a bend in Keighley Road. That I believe is not there anymore, it is how it used to be.
There is on the bend, what looks like a farm, but reading now more about the area, it may also be a pub. A lot of history there going back to the war of the roses, that is if I have the right place.
I looked for Broad Tree and I have read that it might be in Boothtown, but can't find out much about that either.
I think that the farm might be split into two. Because on the 1851 where
Sally is left it says ''farmer of 11 acres'' and on the 1851 census for Charles,
(the brother of Joseph), it says ''farmer of 9 acres'', that was at Slippy Lane.
(wherever that might be).
