Hi Fosbeck

The part of the 1851 Brighton Census that I possess only covers:
Steyning, Old & New Shoreham, Hove, Preston, Patcham, Blatchington, Hangleton, Portslade, Aldrington, Southwick.

Saying that, there is no reference to any BRABY on the above.

Sorry for being so negative

Hi Chris,

Could you please lookup LEVETT in the following references:

1831 & 1811 St John Sub Castro, plus Population 1811, Jury List & Voters 1832

East Sussex Quarter Sessions 1810 – 1854

Could you pleaase also advise if there is a Henry ADAMS in the QS too.

One last question what Catholic church and cemetery existed in/around the Lewes area in the early 1840s.

Many thanks for your time.

Kind regards
Rick

Hi Chris,

I was hoping to ask you some questions about my family who I believe were born and resided in Seaford, Sussex. the names that I have at this stage are:

Charles Joseph Bravery: Born 15/9/1985,
Charles Willy Bravery (Charles J Bravery's son)

Charles Willy was/is I believe my Great Great Grandfather. He moved to Australia when my Great Grandmother was 3, she is now 97 and still living in Australia.

Her mother was Agnes Levett born 17/12/1880
Angnes' mother and father were:
William Levett from Meresfield Sussex and Agnes Gurr

I think that Charles J Bravery built the Ritz and the Empire theatres in Seaford, owned a furniture company Barvery and son and were fairly well known members of the town.

I am looking for any information you may have on any of the family members, direct decendants, parents, family trees, anything! My nan and her brother are trying to find out their background.

Thanks for any assistance which you can provide!

Hi Again

In the 1901 census above, Agnes was not at home, she had aquired a position as a servant to the owner of the 'Bay Laundry' in Willesden, Sussex.
