St. John's House Downpatrick
« on: Saturday 05 September 09 00:15 BST (UK) »
I am researching someone  who was in Downshire Mental Asylum for many years but don't know if he died there or had been discharged before his death.
He died in 1978 in Downshire Hospital.
His death Certificate gives his usual address as St. John's House, Downpatrick. Was St. John's House part of Downshire Asylum at that time in 1978 or was it a home of some kind?

Any help would be really appreciated.
Brian.
