1851 to 1871 census look-ups please - DAINTY
« on: Friday 04 September 09 20:35 BST (UK) »
I would appreciate some census look-ups on these two DAINTY brothers please

They are children of William Dainty b1800 and his wife Elizabeth m 1823

Charles Dainty b 1830 Geddington, home 1841 in Easton
Where is he in 1851?
He married Eliza in 1856
Where is he in 1861 and 1871?
Both parties have died by 1881 but I don't know if they had any children

William Dainty also b 1830 but later same year in Easton, is still at home in 1851
I861 where is he???
He married a Mary in 1864
Where is he in 1871?
Mary b 1832 in Easton?, poss she died in 1872 age 40?
He is remarried in 1881 to Fanny L and living in Easton
He is a farmer

There is one b Pytchley who also married a Fanny and one b Titchmarsh unmarried and also a William Edward who married an Annie Green but all these I have ruled out - they are not mine

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

If correct Charles above.

1871 Rg10/1513 Dist: 3 Pg 8, Folio 65 Kings Cliffe

Charles is now 40 and has a wife named Susannah 34.

Susannah more than likely had the maiden name Braines as
she has a sister Letitia 28 living with them both from Rockingham.

With Gortonboy's info this could be Mary's grave inscription.  :)

Kings Cliffe Parish Church

In Memory of Mary, wife of William Dainty of Westhay,
died March 25 1872 aged 40 years.
