Hi there Fay
Berrima & District Historical and Family History Society is our local group and they have a web site, just google them, can't tell you offhand the address. Yes they do research but if you want something let me know and I will check it out.  Not sure when the holiday closing is but  we can work around it if necessary.
Cheers

My thanks to everyone for all of the information posted Re my query Curry/Currie.
I can now rule out Curry.
There were a Currie family who came to Australia on the ARABIAN into Victoria in april 1858,
could someone please tell me where it sailed from?
Regards
Gordon

Not sure if I am misunderstanding your post but spelling variations were common in 19th century and you'll need to consider any and all spellings of the surname when searching for information.

If you are looking for information about passengers arriving in Australia it would be best to post on AUSTRALIA board to see if anyone can help with those details for you.
