Timothy HIGGINS......Warialda & Inverell

Good afternoon to all.

I am looking for a lead for a Timothy Higgins who died in 1867 in Warialda, , New South Wales, Australia . His parents are listed as Dominick and Catherine Higgins.

He married Ann STUART in Armidale, NSW in 1856.

I have been unable to find a shipping record for him and also unable to find a birth in NSW.

I have most of his children by his marriage to Ann listed.

No....I have not bought any certificates...most info from NSW B D & Marriages and cemetery records from Warialda and Inverell Cemeteries.

I am a descendant of Timothy and Ann Higgins. What information in particular were you looking for?? I do have a bit of information about their descendants, but not about their parents.

Hi Jess,,
This is an old post and it is at times like this I am glad I have the same email address. I am also a descendant of the Higgins line. I have most information on the Higgins line but have never found which ship Timothy arrived on. He does not show up on any shipping sites. I probably need to buy some birth, deaths and marriage certificates!!

Unfortunately it looks like a different family. My Timothy was born in 1870 in Warwick, Qld and died in Nambour in 1922.
 :(

Curiosity is killing me. May I ask where in the line you are?

I am the granddaughter of John Higgins - son of John Higgins - son of Dominick Higgins- son of Timothy and Ann Higgins.

I noticed that you were are also looking into the history of the Bailey family, are you still researching them as well?

Hi Jess,

I am from the Charles Bailey and Sarah Frendon line. My Grandmother was a Bailey. I come from Tenterfield. I have been collecting information for quite a few years now!
