Digital Military Records
« on: Monday 31 August 09 04:19 BST (UK) »
Don't know if I fluked it - but went searching for great uncle on archway (via cenotaph).
The record had been digitised and I was able to view and download it - totally free!
My luck wasn't completely in - because the searches for other uncles who had been killed didn't come up.

Does anyone know if they are slowly releasing these old records?
Or was I just lucky?
