Welcome to Rootschat. It looks like you've already found lots of information on you relatives but what else are you looking for?
The marriage certificate of Michael and Bridget should list their father's names and occupations.
1911 census for Co. Armagh (and all Ireland) is now online if you want to searc for any of the family that stayed in Ireland-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search
There's also index to civil registrations-

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I was hoping to find out who their parents were or about spouses of the    other children . I already have the marriage cert. for Michael and Bridget. It doesn't have his father forname name it just says Marley and FY so no help there. I don't think that there is one for James and Sarah.  I have the children's birth records. I want to know more. I have been searching for these family for a very long time and over my years of searching I haven't found anyone that is searching for these families at all. But you  know new people start searching all the time so I though I give it whirl and see of anything turn up.

To trace either family back you would really need to search church records (if they exist).
ere's a list of R.C. records which have been microfilmed to give you an idea of what might be available-

Hi there,

If you are willing to pay for the record Armagh ancestry   (http://armagh.brsgenealogy.com)  have the wedding details of Bridget Foy and Michael Marley in 1865 at Drumcree Church/Chapel. It costs 5 euros. I have used it in the past and found it useful. Usually it gives the names of the fathers only but sometimes it includes witnesses names who are often family members and also the officiating clergy. It could bring you one more step along your search :)

Apologies!!  I should have read your second posting a bit more carefully.  A bit unfortunate there was  no good info on wedding certficate. Did you see the other thread by Maryde on the 8th August ?  perhaps you could both share/help each other with info. Again sorry for duplication but I will keep an eye out for this family.  Marley is still a well known and respected name within Portadown.

I have been in touch with her. I don't know if our families have any connection of not. From the information we each have there is no way to tell.

I don't know if this is any help at all but, a Mary Marley and Edward Haffey, both of Ballyoran, married in Drumcree R.C. Church, 18th November, 1895.  According to their marriage certificate, Mary, a weaver, was the daughter of Patrick Marley, a butcher, and one of the witnesses was a Patrick Marley as well as a Mary Farrell.
Best,M
