I've just found gt uncle Hugh in the 1911 census, in the naval hospital in Gosport Hants. :)
I was waiting to find him in Wicklow!
I can see my father in Bray when Wicklow eventually appears, although I have already found the info. in the Archives in Dublin.

Usually i have found once one batch of counties is made available they then give an estimate of when the next ones will be available. They never usually have them available on this estimate date.

Then usually they give another update. Which should be happening soon. This will say that the counties will be available on a definite date. They are usually accurate enough with the second estimate time frame.

I think they would be better off spending less time on quality and letting us the searchers find and notify them of corrections. The best one I have found so far is Larry Sterne female in Wexford it should be Lucy. (they have been informed)

I notice the site is gone very slow again today - it usually does that shortly before a new batch of information is released.

Here's hoping!

Dara.

I'm glad I'm not the only impatient one ;D. I am hoping to find my grandmother b1906 in Kildare. I found her mother and some siblings in 1901 census at IFHF but her father was awol and after two hit and misses (same name, different person) which costs $$ I gave up. I will look for him again later when 1901 is out and free to find out what he was up to that night.

There are also lots of errors in the UK 1911 census. I don't mind submitting corrections, it feels good to do my bit and make it easier for others later. It does mean that you have to get creative if you don't find your family straight away (try variations of names etc).

Thanks Hugh!  I am anxiously awaiting 1901 for my one brick wall and see it mentioned in the link you posted as being started to be released by end of this year.

 So fingers crossed!
