Thanks for that info.
Unfortunately there is no spell check on so it's a chore. However, the townlands are on and they are not in either Castleblakeney or Course.  Using all the variations I could on all counties I did eventually come up with the other branch in Crow St Gort. I knew they were there and I knew there were others in Normangrove, jc26. You'd think having an uncommon surname it would be easier, but I really think there is something missing.
Shanew147, I'll get going on that.

you can check for surname variations using the wildcard option...

e.g. using a search of b*ll*r

gives you all names that begin with B include LL somewhere in the middle and ends with an R

I looked at Form B1 for Course. The family was actually here in 1901, although I think their back gate was in Castleblakeney!
Course is a doddle - 4 households!
On the B1 there is actually a number 5 but it is uninhabited. It does say "building" instead of "built", though, like the others do.

the national archive site has had the same message up for months now saying the next batch of counties will be "online by mid-july"; by my reckoning that would be tomorrow :) i'm being optimistic because they were fairly accurate with the timing last time around.has anyone heard of anything happenning?
