I've nearly finished reading "The Floating Brothel" by Sian Rees, being "the extraordinary story of female convicts bound for Botany Bay". Circa 1788 it is based mainly about life aboard the ship 'The Lady Julian/a' and the sometimes tortuous journey to Sydney Cove. It has quite a lot of names included with the crimes committed and where plus references to other ships. It may just contradict the conception that all convict transports were 'coffin ships' and add a bit of real-life? to names and dates.
I've not looked up any references/info on the internet - you can do that!
