Tre Gwydyr in 1780 - Denbighshire?
« on: Saturday 29 August 09 07:34 BST (UK) »
Hello. I hope I have the correct board for this query.

I am searching for a marriage of a William Morris or Moris or Maurice and Alice.  I would expect the marriage was about 1798 or so, as their first son Morris was born about 1799 - 1801.

In the 1851 census, Alice said she was born in Tre Gwydyr.

Would Denbighshire be the correct location to search for this marriage?

Thank you.

Hi

I believe that Tre Gwydyr is on the opposite side of the River Conway to Llanrwst which would put it in Caernarfonshire.
