Hi everyone. I have 2 people called Samuel Rose in the 1871 census. Would it be possible for someone to look them up for me? I'm looking for a father (43)and son (

combination but would like all family details if it is the right family.

There are 52 people with the name Samuel Rose on the 1871 census.
3 of those are aged 8 years, but only 1 has a father called Samuel – unfortunately his father is only 31 years old.
In case you have got the ages wrong, can you give any further details in order to break down the possibles

The one I want would be a chainmaker for certain and married to Mary Ann.

I will have another look for a chainmaker married to a Mary Ann

but it could take a while to go into each head of household to find who the wife is

I think not! Don't fret. I'll just ahve to buy the 1871 Staff census and find all my missing people there! Just wished they would have stayed in one county.
