The Church of Jesus Christ open day

Has anyone attended one of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints family history open days? The church in my local area is advertising one in a couple of weeks, what are they like, what facilities will they have for research, and are they worth attending? Thanks for any information.

I think it will be well worth you going.  They may have mini classes on doing research. Plus you will be able to see what they hold for records there as people can bring in films to look at.   Also you can bring films is as well to use there.

I use the nearest one to me, don;t get there that often as it is a  1 1/2 drive away for me so don;t go much in the winter time.
