I read about this somewhere, yes it is fake! - something to do with there being a spare enumeration page and some plonker filling it in for a laugh.

If I can find the bit I read and the book I read it in I'll post the detail.

I read this thread a couple of days ago and found it funny but the address has been "bugging me" ever since.

Today the penny dropped............... wasn't this the address that Danger Mouse lived at?

A quick google has failed to confirm this but if I am correct DM was only conceived in 1984 so the "census entry" is likely to be post 1984!

Found this on one of the Danger Mouse websites:

"It should also be noted that DangerMouse lives in a trusty red pillar box just outside of the Baker Street home of Sherlock Holmes famous residence!"

I thought it was Paddington Bear but No......... >:(

Bananaman lived at 29 Acacia Road ;D

I've just looked at the image on Ancestry and it's obviously been filled in by a modern hand :)  Over on the next page, it's just blank with a hand-drawn flower on it ;D

I found this whilst Googling to find out why the address is familiar. The last section on the page is about Mr Goodman. ??? :'(

Has anyone come across other puzzling entries?
