Its a pleasure to share.  How on earth do you find the time to make such beautiful cards?

Hi Jenny.

Thankyou.  :)

As to the cards. I find my work easier as it can sometimes be 2 of us.

My hubby is an ex-pattern designer in the Shoe Trade from years ago.

He does all the difficult cutting and I do the designing.  :) Team Work.

Well unless I am throwing a paddy as it all goes pear shape and I
have to start all over again.  ;D  ;D  ;D

Hi Sandy

Here is the group photo I sent you.

My grandad, Frank JONES, was in the First Battalion of the Northamptonshire Regiment.   He is fourth from the left in the back row of this photo.   I'm not sure if the men are all in the same regiment as caps and badges are not all the same.   Maybe some kind Rootchatter can explain?

If anyone could suggest a date I should be extremely grateful.   I know my grandad was in Egypt at the outbreak of the war and it really doesn't look as if it was taken there.   Then he was just home for a few days before arriving in France on 12th August 1914.   So, my best guess is that it was taken in the week before he went to France, but really I've no idea.

Also, if I'm not asking too much, it would be really great to put names to faces!!

Many thanks,

Diana
