Hi All.

I have still been receiving photographs from elsewhere.  :)

I would like to add my thanks to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission staff
who have been so helpful with information relating to my project.

I made these cards for them as I am always appreciative of the time and
helpfulness given to me.

Hello Sandy, I've just been reading this fascinating thread, and thought you might find this link interesting. You may know it already, of course. http://www.raundswarmemorials.org/117.html

Here is a link to the tragic story of a Northampton WW2 casualty.  This man's wife was a lovely lady whom I met towards the end of her life. I don't think she ever recovered from losing him, especially knowing how he died. Fellow Rootschatters found him for me.

Hi rancegal.

I am afraid one of my best friends died today so I will not be helping
here for awhile.

Thank you very much for the links.

Thank You Phil.

I am just cross-stitching a Poppy card for someone who kindly
left (without my knowledge) a book she did for her B A History.

It is called "Military Extempion Tribunals 1915-1918" and she left it
at the Northampton Library for me the other week.

Folks kindness is never-ending.

Have you got the pic Phil? If so stick it up and we'll do the business
One more charge and then be dumb,
When the forts of Folly fall,
May the victors when they come
Find my body near the wall.
