Does any one know any think about the name musselwhite or where they came from! as i never hear of any ones last name being musselwhite!

A search here on RootsChat produces messages about Musselwhites in Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire mainly, plus a couple of strays in Cheshire and Lancashire.

I thought I had heard the name before but when I checked I found I was incorrect and had read about  Maurice Joseph Micklewhite - otherwise Michael Caine..........

Off to check that Musselwhite surname now.  ::)
