Oh my goodness I have no idea, its a possibility, I dont have anything else for Kathleen as my Dad was very young when she died but as I said Sam's father was said to have owned a woollen mill in Bradford and it seems that everyone connected with the family were worsted spinners etc.. so it could be how they met?

 Hi Jensav    I remember Montserratt Mills Tong St Bradford .The Smith family mill was called  E J Smith .and they were woolcombers. later to be taken over by Woolcomber's  Ltd .Bradford. The Mill was directly behind a row of houses ,the end house is 511 Tong St.Bradford ,They are still there today.I know this because my friend lived at 511 and we played around  Montserratt Mills in the 1950's. cant remember when the mills were demolished possibly the 1960's Tong Conservative Club was next door ,And Tong Cemetery just on the opposite side of the rd. [Tong St.].
